Love undeserved and yet unending

I won't be sad
As I think of you this Christmas.
I won't be sad 
As I think of your short lives.
I'll look at lights
And think of Heaven's glory,
Streets of gold
Lit by the King of Kings.
I'll treasure time,
Time with your earthly family.
We'll open gifts,
And I'll think of grace,
Grace given me
Grace that took you home.
I'll look at them,
Your brother and your sister
The two who filled
The womb you left so early.

All six of my dear children.
I'll remember 
Why we celebrate this season.
I'll think of you
And picture you two on His knee,
Hearing Him tell
The story of His birth.
I'll wonder 
What details you've been told,
How much love
You feel as He expounds the story.

Hope passed away 8 years ago this week.
Kyson's due date was a year ago today.
