Holy scripture, words of my God,
The only true and living God,
Creator, Savior, Mighty King,
I open the pages, and hear from Him.
He has so much to share with us.
He has so much to teach us.
Knowledge, understanding, and wisdom
Are right inside this Book.
He tells how He made it all,
How He made us for His own.
He is LORD, Holy Sovereign,
From everlasting to everlasting.
He has a perfect love for us.
He's full of mercy and much grace.
Account after account of His faithfulness
Are written there for us.
Oh taste and see that He is good.
Open up the pages.
Read the truth, and let it set you free
To live eternally.
